A lump of clay is an invitation to experience the freedom and magic of making something out of nothing. I delight in expressing emotions and telling stories in clay. Working from an emotion, a piece of music, a poem, a found object or even something that has lost its utility in our everyday world, I give them life and form with clay. My art is about doing what moves and interests me, and ultimately about our common experience as human beings.
